SI Electrical is a leading lighting and electrical specialist with much experience working on large scale iconic projects. One such iconic project is the One Aldwych hotel. As the name suggests the hotel is located on one of the busiest streets in the West End of London. SI have been commissioned to provide a lighting installation for the outside of the building. A survey of building is essential. To do this the options were either closing the road for several hours while they used a large mewp which is both expensive and inconvenient or using a drone. To fly in the west of London you need a specialist drone pilot with an OSC accreditation. That is why SI Electrical came to Drone Solutions for their drone survey. They knew it would be done quickly, safely and without fuss. And one of London’s main arteries was not closed for hours. And they were right.
