When JDR Cable Systems began the construction of a 46,000-square metre factory for subsea cables to support the growth of the offshore renewable-energy market, they wanted to record this legacy build on the site of the old Blyth power station for prosperity and to monitor the site remotely from Poland. Above all they needed to work with someone with experience of time-lapse, live broadcasting and drones on large construction projects. That is why they choose to work with Solutions. We installed solar powered CCTV and time-lapse cameras throughout the site and fly regular drone flights to inspect the works.
